Fetty Wap describes his interactions with a lady who has caught his eye.
“A sack for us to roll” means rolling a blunt. A sack refers to a package containing marijuana. Rolling a sack would be making a cigarette that contains marijuana.
Fetty Wap is proud about his wealth, which for some reason causes him to introduce his penis (“stove”) to this lady.
“Whip it” and “remixin'” are also euphemisms that refer to sexual intercourse.
According to Fetty Wap, a “trap queen” is a girl who is street smart and loyal to him and really doesn’t care about what anybody thinks.
A “bando” is an abandoned house in a ghetto.
Despite Fetty Wap’s “trap queen” holding him back, he’s aiming high in his music career.
Fetty Wap expects to excel in his music career to the point that he is able to purchase two Lamborghini vehicles.
Fetty Wap brags about the money he has to spend recklessly.
Fetty Wap’s “trap queen” is also a stripper.
Fetty Wap says people are jealous of him.
Fetty Wap’s motivation for music is wealth.
Fetty Wap brags about smoking marijuana with his “trap queen.”
“Ride with my baby” means “play sex with my girl.”
“Cooking pies with my baby” in this context actually means exactly what it sounds like – cooking real pies. If you watch the music video you will see his girl cooking a pie for him. On a more general note, a “pie” is a kilo of cocaine, but that’s not what Fetty Wap means here.
Fetty Wap talks about showing off money in public.
That is, a Ferrari.
That is, a Lamborghini.
Fetty Wap has no problem throwing around money for expensive jewelry since he has so much money in the first place.
To own the neighborhood, Fetty Wap explains, one needs women, money, weapons, and nice cars.
Fetty Wap insists that his girl might be using him for money.
Fetty Wap brags about using hand-rolled cigar wraps to smoke marijuana. These are generally more expensive and trigger a higher-quality high.
The Remy Boyz sign off on their song, bragging about their ability to have sex with women. However, the main point of the song is to look out for “trap queens,” that is, girls who hold guys back.

my friend said trapping means selling drugs so i thought a trap queen was a girl selling drugs
Trap King
This whole song is about him getting his girl smoking crack cocaine then cooking his product and selling in her house for him. so he makes the money and gets ass from her and she gets her drugs..
A Naive Genius
I think the song itself describes a vexing struggle between the author’s (Mr. Fetty Wap) want for both internal peace and material wealth. Within the duration of the song, one can sense his lack of want for settlement in the lyrics and tone but his mind seems to vacillate. He’s torn between two clashing worlds. The crazy, intoxicating, drug induced party world of his career (I.e. “Married to the money”,”fetty wap I’m living fifty thousand K..”) and the quite blissful world he enjoys with his beloved(I.e. “I [will?] be in the kitchen cooking pies with my baby”). Wap spins his dilemma masterfully into words as the lyrics continue to draw the listener to keen on his mindset. As the story unravels, wap decides to mingle his two worlds. (I.e. “Showed her how to whip it, now she remixin’ for low
She my trap queen, let her hit the bando
We be countin’ up, watch how far them bands go”). To his ecstasy, his love is delighted. (I.e. “Man, I swear I love her how she work the damn pole
Hit the strip club, we be letting bands go”) and he enjoys the mirth alongside her (I.e. “Everybody hating, we just call them fans though
In love with the money, I ain’t never letting go”,”And I get high with my baby
I just left the mall, I’m gettin’ fly with my baby, yeaaahhh
And I can ride with my baby”,”I hit the strip with my trap queen cause all we know is bands
I just might snatch up a ‘Rari and buy my boo a Lamb'”). But in the midst of the gaiety, he questions his decision. He misses the calamity of the life he’s left behind.(“Count up hella, them bands though
How far can your bands go?”). He is again wavered. But complete abandoning of the expected plot happens here: He chooses material wealth. He gains total confidence in his decision and himself and continues to boldly state: “I be smoking dope and you know Backwoods what I roll
Remy Boyz, Fetty eating shit up that’s fasho
I’ll run in ya house, then I’ll fuck your ho
Cause Remy Boyz or nothin’, Re-Re-Remy Boyz or nothin'”. And the tale comes to an end. I find this song not only a prodigious allusion of the life of a celebrity but a satirical attack on social conventions as well. Today, the younger generation is fed with so many epics of justice and heroism that the majority of them are in a complete dilution of the reality of our world. Mr. Fetty Wap shows through this masterpiece the true nature of man. He depicts love and wealth on an equal scale and holds a light to both. He critiques the superficial illusions society has named “right” and “wrong”. He humiliates the so called “gallant” and exposes his listeners to what the world truely runs on: desire.

You have no business commenting on this. You, my friend, are mistaken, on so many levels, it’s sad. The song is about his Trap Queen (girl who’s down for her guy/crime partner), and cooking pies (crack or meth, depending), and everything in between. And please remember, the writer of the lyrics and the director of the video both have their own visions, so just because the video shows actual pies, it doesn’t mean that’s the meaning of the lyrics, lol. That’s it, nothing deep, no inner battles. And I would hardly call these lyrics being a reflection on the true nature of man. Maybe a young man, but not a real man who realizes the errors of his youth and strives to change them.

I’ve always know a trap queen not to be pretty always. Very hood, street smart, holds the trap house down by herself or when her man is in jail. Selling out of the trap house if you know what that is. Down for whatever cause she handles street business. Someone who is loyal to her man and the drug game.

Showed her how to whip it…as in whip bakin soda with coke to cook it on the stove into crack. Baking pies? A pie is a kilo of cocaine.
B Tip
They shouldn’t let white people do these explanations. This song isn’t about sex, its about his down for whatever girl helping him make and sell crack and how they spend the money from his business. PERIOD!
Anonymous
Yep! Nothing less, nothing more. And I’m white, lol…

Its about his main bitch cooking crack selling crack n strippin. – some white guy

Yes, actually he is talking about a kilo of coke. Cooking pies means cooking large quantities of coke (by the kilo, not the gram, which is why he says pies) in a specific way in order to produce free base cocaine, AKA crack.
Trap queen was originally a term for females that hussle/sell drugs/pimp prostitutes/etc on the same level in terms of money and power as a man would, but here he doesn’t necessarily mean a female drug dealer, but is trying to make it more of a broad and relatable term to refer to a loyal female who “holds it down” per se and takes care of her man and herself in all aspects, while still demanding the same amount of respect from her man and everyone else. It’s a play on words, being used so he can blatantly brag about how he taught his girl how to cook and flip crack just as well as any of his peers in terms of the drug trade, but to an average listener it sounds like there is no double meaning and he is just talking about taking care of his girl and making sexual euphemisms about her and her body and how much he appreciates her natural sexuality.
Other terms are also used that might slip over the head of most people that hear the song on the radio, such as:
Whip it—method of cooking crack in which there is more product to convert and manufacture than an average batch, and therefore needs to be mixed, stirred, or scraped from the bottom of the apparatus being used and flipped over, so that the part that has been receiving most of the heat is on top, and the rest of the product can cook. He uses this language as a double meaning as well, as most listeners would assume he is talking about his girl dancing for him due to the popular dance that goes by the aforementioned term.
Remixing for low—here he is using yet another clever play on words, remixing for low in terms of it’s conventional meaning means that he like the way she dances for him, and therefore every song she dances to is “remixed” because he hears/experiences the music in a whole different way as apposed to listening to the music without a naked lady shaking her stuff all up in his face.
In the other sense of the term he is referring to getting his girl to cook his crack “for low” (little to no compensation) instead of paying an associate or friend to do it.
Bands—rubber or paper bands full of large bills. Rappers use this term to alude to the fact that they have so much money it won’t fit in a wallet so they are just forced to carry huge wads of tens of thousands of dollars in cash if they don’t want to go through a bank.
Bando—abandoned house in a low income or government housing project neighborhood, used for various purposes by squatters involved in the drug trade, to accomplish certain task that you wouldn’t want to do in a house or apt where your name is on the lease and is therefore traceable back to the individual. (Cooking/selling crack) (Growing/selling marijuana).

Some of these explanations are crazy. Way too deep! Haha! Some would consider me a ‘basic white bitch’ and even I know this song is about a straight up gangster chick cooking crack for/with her man.
Scott
This song is so obviously about a drug dealer, his drugs, and a Trap Queen – which is a woman he trusts/likes enough to introduce to his Trap House (where drugs are made). Whoever wrote the lyric explanations is so far off the mark it’s almost painful.
Here, corrections to the first Stanza:
“Married to the money, introduced her to my stove” = “Addicted to making money off drugs, introduced his soon to be Trap Queen to where the drugs are cooked (made)”
“Showed her how to whip it, now she remixin’ for low” = “Taught her how to make the drugs and she’s willing to do it and potentially good at it”
“She my trap queen, let her hit the bando” = “He trusts her to run the Trap House, which is in a ‘bando’ – or abandoned building”
“We be countin’ up, watch how far them bands go” = “They are counting all the money they are making. Bands refers to groups of money, e.g. a band of 100’s that equals $1000.”
“We just set a goal, talkin’ matchin’ Lambos” = “They are making so much money off making and selling drugs, they are planning on buying matching Lamborghini’s”
“Got 50, 60 grand, 5 100 grams though” = “How much money they are making off drug weights”
“Man, I swear I love her how she work the damn pole” = “She was a stripper when he met her”
“Hit the strip club, we be letting bands go” = “Spending the money from drugs at the strip club.”
“Everybody hating, we just call them fans though” = “Doesn’t care what anyone else says about his habit/lifestyle”
“In love with the money, I ain’t never letting go” = “Loves the money too much, isn’t going to give up being a drug dealer.”
So yah, compare that with the Lyric Explanation above. Way off.

Y’all think your so right a song can be anything. Everybody sees art in a different way . the song can have a different meaning to anyone. It’s just the way and individual views it. Everyone on here swears like they are right when in all reality your interpretation on it is totally up to you. It can mean whatever you want it to mean and that’s where the world is messes up everyone wants their opinion to be right or most liked when really who cares except you.

Dude up there “Scott” got it right except for the one line “50, 60 grand from 100 grams though” which actually refers to “the stretch” which is how much $$ they can make in rock coke (crack) (50-60K) from around 3oz of cocaine powder..that’s actually quite the stretch as usually that’s worth about half that so, she’d real efficient with the cooking/whippin’ … The other thing is that Fetty explained all this – wasn’t no love in the game except a mutual love of money and the game,…
Anonymous
Fetty has since tweeted that the lyrics are
56 a gram 5 100 grams though
That would mean that if you bought 100 grams you would owe him 5600$ but since you buy in bulk you get a discount – 5 referring to “5”000$ – five thousand dollars

Ok who in the Sam hill has the time to write all this I mean like the song is not all that great to me he could have did a better job at writing this shitty song

this is just about making a shit ton of money from selling drugs with his trap queen, and spending said money on cool shit.
a mother.
The worst thing about this song and its meaning is that I heard 3 young girls (10-13ish) singing it as they walked down the street. Why does most of the “music” on the radio now have to do with making/selling/doing drugs and strippers. Its not even thinly veiled as to what it means. I would not want my daughter to be hearing any of it.
